If the item you’re looking for isn’t on the Rachel Kohl Community Library shelves, you can request it via interlibrary loan from another library in the Delaware County Libraries system, and it will be delivered to us.

Note: Libby is the preferred app of The Rachel Kohl Community Library. Another app you may be familiar with is OverDrive. Libby is a newer, updated app; it has the same titles available as OverDrive, but the app has been designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly. After February 2022, the OverDrive app will not be available for download, and Libby will be the only app available. The web-version of OverDrive will still exist.

Looking for a new puzzle? The Library can help with that! We have puzzles for all ages available, from 5 pieces to 2,000 pieces. You can have the item checked out for up to 3 weeks. Come to the Rachel Kohl Community Library to see our offerings; items must be picked up and dropped off at our Library.

Book Club in a Bag

Are you hoping to make organizing your next book club pick a little easier? Try our Book Club in a Bag! With dozens of books for adults and teens, there are picks for every book club. The bags available contain 8-12 books, but the amount varies by each title. All you have to do is contact the Library to arrange the check out of the bags, and then distribute the books to your fellow readers.

Note: These bags cannot be put on hold through our catalog; you must contact the Rachel Kohl Community Library to reserve them. Bags can be checked out for up to 8 weeks, and can be reserved up to 11 months in advance. Bags cannot be renewed.

Did you recently read a book that’s part of a series, and you’re looking for more? The website Book Series in Order is a helpful tool that lists almost 20,000 books in the order that they can be read. The books are organized by author, and then in the order of the character, series, publication, or chronology.
